Autumn Semillon 2022 (375ml)

Inspired by the wines of Barsac, a small village within the Sauternes appellation of France, famous for producing sweet white wines. Picked late in the vintage, the grapes are encourages to develop botrytis (noble rot) that concentrates the flavours and acids. Orange blossom and citrus aromas, leading to a luscious palate of lime marmalade and candied ginger. While sweet, there is ample acidity to balance the wine and provide a crisp finish. Maturation occurred over 9 months in French oak hogsheads.
